So you had your appetite whetted when the Decemberists released “The Rake’s Song” via their website, well check out this new teaser from the album ripped from BBC Radio. This track features the always lovely Shara Worden of My Brightest Diamond. It starts on harpsichordy chords and then just starts rocking when Shara starts singing (plus the “oohs” in the background remind me of Regine from Arcade Fire)
In case you didn’t hear, they’re going on tour, and they’ll be playing the new CD The Hazards of Love in its entirety at each show!
