Most people probably never wanted this to happen. Ever. These people are, of course, Bright Eyes fans. But Brandon Flowers and co. covered Bright Eyes’ lead single from Cassadaga, “Four Winds” to mixed results. I think it’s a very clever reinvention of the lyrics, which actually sound like something Flowers would think up if he had a little more experience. The instrumental treatment is meh at best.
