Okay so now I’ve got time I’ll actually talk about the concert a little bit (I know). The Crocodiles opened and were awful. Ladytron came on with awesome light-up things behind and well, were awesome. They were a lot better this time than when I saw them in 2006 at the Gypsy Tea Room. They cut their set short because their monitor blew or something, but they probably only had a couple songs left anyways. Then The Faint came on and made everyone go insane and lose their brain and dance (except the dude next to me who stood arms crossed the entire show, but with a huge grin on his face). I thought their newer songs (“Mirror Error” please) sounded a lot more put-together than some of their older stuff (“Glass Danse,” “Desperate Guys” excepted). Anyway, it was the most fun I’ve had at a show for awhile. Here’s some pics below and then you can see more at Flickr.
