Trials + Tribulations

If you live in the UK, you’ve probably been jamming Victoria “Little Boots” Hesketh’s album Hands for a minute now, but us Americans have a little longer to wait before the album is released on the  newly-resurrected Elektra Records (with new labelmates, Justice and Cee-Lo?).

Before she gets her Hands all over America (har har) she’s released an EP called Illuminations. Sure, it has a couple songs you’ve had on repeat forever (“Stuck on Repeat,” “New in Town”) along with a couple tracks that aren’t hard to find if you dig (“Magical” was released on a 7″ and “Love Kills” was on another EP before) but the real interest is a new song that’s not on Hands called “Not Now.” Oh yes, Ms. Boots.
