I honestly don’t know practically anything about Casiokids. Hot Chip mentioned on their Twitter that the band had opened for them, and that their melodies were really amazing next level stuff (I’m paraphrasing). So I hunted down their album, Topp Stemning På Lokal Bar and have been digging it all weekend. Their melodies are great, and with a style akin to Hot Chip’s or Lo-Fi-Fnk (who remix a song on the second bonus disc of the album). The songs are all in Norwegian, but I can’t understand lyrics in English half the time so it’s not a big deal. Take a bite into this track and see if you’re not hooked!
