A quick Google of Spencer Breslin and you’ll find out that he is by no means unknown, having been in several films since his youth. This October however he will be releasing his first album, Labor Day, on his own label Acadian Recording Co. The album was recorded with the help of many of his friends, from Vetiver to Architecture in Helsinki and Crystal Stilts.
Central to the album is Breslin’s own songwriting and a voice that reminds me of a young Stephen Malkmus. It’s a very autumn-sounding record, so its October release date will be great for autumn drives as the leaves are changing and things are finally cooling off.
