There have been a LOT of Metronomy remixes over the last year but how about covers? This one’s from the sleek ‘n’ sexy duo Benoit & Sergio doing “Corinne” so smooooth you’ll wanna dance in your room rubbing your hands all over your body.
It’s found on Metronomy’s Unreleased Remixes album out March 6th.
Benoit & Sergio have released several singles this year on various labels, and their newest one out today is on DFA. The A-side is “Principles” but here’s the B-side I’m loving.

I put a lot of trust into record labels; trust that they’ll lead me to new good artists even if I’ve never heard of them before. So when I see the DFA stamp on a record, I know it’s gonna be good.
Chalk up another promising new artist to DFA for finding Benoit & Sergio. According to their bio, they’re not new per se, but they’ll be releasing their debut album on the label some time this year. Benoit & Sergio come from Paris and Iowa, respectively, and make the kind of shimmering dance music DFA is well known for. “Boy Trouble” is a song about girls, girls with legs like Ferraris, girls who never say they’re sorry, and the woeful fact that to win these girls over you need poetry. The vocals are listless and a little naggy, but it works all around.
The “Boy Trouble” 12″ is out on DFA now.
