I’m really excited about the debut album from NYC duo Blondes. They’ve released a few singles (including the amazing “You Mean So Much to Me“) and now February 7th RVNG Intl. will release their self-titled album. It’s a 2xCD affair, with disc one comprising their original tracks and disc 2 seeing those tracks reinterpreted by the likes of JD Twitch, Laurel Halo, Teengirl Fantasy and more. Here’s a track I really love:

Blood Orange is releasing their album Coastal Grooves soon on Domino Records, and here’s the preceding single’s video and a remix. The song is called “Sutphin Boulevard.” If you’re a fan of Twin Shadow I think you’ll enjoy Blood Orange (Grizzly Bear’s Chris Taylor co-produced both bands’ albums).
