The follow video surfaced the other day for Blue Water White Death‘s song “Grunt Tube’ from their forthcoming album. If you don’t remember, Blue Water White Death is Jamie Stewart of Xiu Xiu and Jonathan Meiburg of Shearwater’s collaboration. Check out the stark video below. It looks and sounds a lot like a Xiu Xiu video, with Stewart singing/speaking over piano chords and reverb.
Their self-titled album is out October 12th on Graveface Records.
I was just wondering this morning when Shearwater would come out with a new album, and today I get my answer.
The band has released details about their third album The Golden Archipelago on Matador Records February 23. Check out the first song below, via Pitchfork.
