Get used to people referring to About Group as a super group of sorts.

The band features Alexis Taylor of Hot Chip, Charles Hayward of This Heat, John Coxon of Spiritualized and Pat Thomas. With all that talent it’s got to be something good, right? Well here’s a first listen to a track from their upcoming album Start and Complete.

Start to Complete is out April 16th on Domino Records.

Converse released a new video for Hot Chip + Bernard Sumner’s collaboration “Didn’t Know What Love Was.” It’s a goofy stop-motion clip filled with lots of Alex and Joe doubles, a black zentai suit, and fruit maracas.

Rob Smoughton might be the drummer for Hot Chip by day, but by night he’s Grovesnor, the laidback electro Don Juan behind tracks like “Nitemoves” and “Drive My Car.” He’s releasing his new album Soft Return on May 25th. The first single, “Taxi from the Airport” has been remixed by Parisian artist dÉbruit and we have it here for you to download.
