We were all pretty excited when Voxtrot came back into our lives with the new song they debuted, “Trepanation Party” a couple months ago, but disappointed that they’d lost a couple of members. Jared and Mitch are regretfully gone, but now we know Mitch has another, newer band up his sleeve.
The band is called International Waters, also located in Austin. Their sound is filled with jangly guitars that might remind you of, you guessed it, Voxtrot. They also sound pretty heavily influenced by Scotland’s oft-overlooked Comet Gain, which is an awesome thing. Check out the track “In the Park”.
